Apsara
In hindu puranas, Apsara is the tribe of beautiful girls present in heaven. It is believed that they are the goddesses of cloud and water.
An Apsara is a very well known name for her dance. It is believed that they are the daughters of Saint Kashyapa. The king of heaven, Indra is having them in his court.
When saints are doing meditation to get the blessings of God, Indra is always fearing for his post. Hence, he is sending Apsara near saints so that she succeed in deviating the concentration of saints.
