But in Udupi , no celebrations were there . In tulunadu , we follow solar calender . Yesterday's Ashtami was celebrated following Lunar calender.
As per solar calender , Ashtami is going to be celebrated on Sept 17 and 18 in Udupi.
Even our cable operator didn't celebrate ashtami . I mean he didn't telecast any ashtami related programmes though in Mangalore , they celebrated ashtami yesterday.
