Life is short
King Aja once was seen in a beautiful park in his kingdom with his wife Queen Indumati. They were both seen happily walking in the greens of the park. In the same time,muni Narada was doing rounds in swarga happily singing the bhajans of lord Vishnu carrying his veena. His veena was garlanded with flower garlands. He was walking singing in the sky.
It was a mere coincidence that he came to the spot where the royal couple are having a great time together. Narada was walking in the sky. He was unaware of what is going on in earth. As he came to the spot exactly above the royal couple,the flower garland of his veena has fallen down and it fallen down around the neck of the queen.
As the queen is unaware of this,she fainted.And the impact that it had fallen from the sky,she died immediately. The king was seeing all this but he could not do anything. So,at that time,he realised that LIFE IS SHORT. So,eventhough he lost his wife,he didnt want to marry again. Instead ,he spent his rest of his life in the service of the GOD.
MORAL : LIFE IS VERY SHORT.IT IS IN OUR HAND TO MAKE IT SWEET.
