Reason for Durvasa's angryness
Durvasa is the son of muni atri and anasuya.The couple were not having any children.So,they were doing many pujas to goda.
One day Lord Brahma and Shiva are arguing over some matter.Shiva was so angry with Brahma as Brahma was not listening to him.All the 3 lokas were distructed by the wrath of Shiva.People are frightened.Shiva returned to kailasa being angry.His partner Parvati complained that because of Shiva's angryness,all the 3 lokas are in distress.
At that time,Shiva realised the effect of his angryness is causing harm to other people.So he decided to drop his angryness in the form of a baby.So,Shiva deposited a portion of his angryness in the stomach of Anasuya as they are hoping for a baby.
Thus born durvasa.As he is born because of Shiva's angryness,durvasa himself is a man with angryness.So,everyone was scared of him and his angryness.Because in angryness,durvasa cursed people and destroyed their lives.At the same time,if the host please him,he blessed them with boons.So,till today,the angry people are compared with Durvasa.
