Seal is an amphibian. It lives both on water as well as on ground. It has finn like structures which help them to swim easily when they are in water.
Seal is a mammal. That means it dont lay eggs but it directly gives birth. Being an amphibian, question arises where it will give birth?
Since it is giving birth , water is not a safe place. Hence it comes to ground and gives birth. As its children becomes little stronger, it teaches them how to live in water too.
