Inferiority Complex

                         Inferiority Complex
Sanju was the only son of rich parents. He was good in studies too. Parents were proud of their son. Sanju now is in 6th standard. Next year he has to face board exam. To prepare him for that, Sanju's parents decided that a tuition master could be arranged to help their son in mathematics. They searched for a suitable master and found one.
The new master is from a poor family. He thought this is his good destiny that Sanju's parents appointed him as tuition master for their son. He came to teach Sanju. On first meeting itself, he found that Sanju is very good at mathematics. He could solve any difficult problem easily.
This fact irked master. He thought if the boy is so intelligent, then there would be no work for him. Thats why he thought of a plan. To ensure his job safety, he kept on saying Sanju that he is very poor in mathematics and also he cant solve a easy problem also.
This continued for many days. Now it was the time for Sanju's class exam. The boy who was scoring more than 95 out of 100, is now scoring a single digit in maths. To Sanju's parents horror, he has become dull too. Now Sanju is getting tuitions all the days of week. But also his performance didnt improve. Parents started to worry about their son as he has to face board exam next year.
Once Sanju's father was seen worrying about his son. His friend asked him what is the matter? Sanju's father explained everything. His friend said he would like to meet the boy. Sanju's father agreed. Both of them went to Sanju's house. Sanju was sitting in a corner staring at something.
Sanju's uncle tried to talk to him. He asked him how the studies going? Sanju without enthusiasm said they are OK. Sanju's uncle gave a easy problem in maths to solve to Sanju as he likes maths. But everyone's surprise, Sanju could not solve it.
When asked for the reason Sanju said he cant solve any problem in maths because he is very weak at maths. Everyone was taken aback. Sanju's father asked him how did he came to know that? Sanju said his tuition master everyday says that.
Then all of them came to know where the problem lies. Sanju's father immediately cancelled tuitions for Sanju. Now Sanju is doing combined studies with his friends. Now he passed 6th and entered 7th. All of his friends were busy in studying as they have to face board exam this time. Sanju with his friends started studying so hard.
Sanju's grades in studies started to improve. It was the time for board exam now. Sanju topped his school in exam. Especially he scored 100 out of 100 in maths. His name was published in newspapers. His parents were happy since they have taken right decision at right time.
Now Sanju is preparing for his 12th and hopes to qualify for IAS exam too. Now he is not having any inferiority complex about himself.

  1. Yes, young people are influenced easily by "teachers" and "elders" by their opinion.
I got only 54 in Maths in SSLC (11 years) but because of 81 in science, 79 and 67 in 2 kannada papers, I got 61 pct - I class. At that time Christian High school was scoring the best, and highest mark was around 70pct.
Now of course, one should get over 90 pct and nearear to 95 pct to get seats "free"
