All know that Ganesh is the son of Parvati. This incident happened when Ganesh was a small boy. In childhood, Ganesh was a very naughty boy. Once Parvati saw him playing with a cat. Ganesh was giving trouble to cat by pulling its tail and also by dragging its ears outwards. Cat was shouting in pain. But Ganesh continued his game without any care for cat.

Parvati saw this. She felt bad for cat. She came near Ganesh and asked him why is he giving pain to cat? For that ,Ganesh replied that the cat has come to eat his vehicle mouse. He caught the cat and teaching it a nice lesson. Parvati hearing this, didnt say anything.

Its noon and it is the lunch time. Ganesh came to kitchen to have his meal. There he saw his mother. Parvati was having all bruises on her body. They were red in colour. She was feeling much pain. Seeing that Ganesh asked her mother what had happened?

Parvati replied that Ganesh was playing with cat and he was playing pranks with it. As a result, Parvati had got bruises on her body whenever Ganesh was thrashing poor cat. Listening to this, Ganesh felt bad and vowed that he will never hurt anyone in future.

Seeing the change in attitude of Ganesh, Parvati thought the bruises she had given to herself did a good job.
