How did the idea of Santa Claus originate?
In just a week, Christmas comes. So , does Santa Claus.
I studied in a Christian Institution. Its all festive mood there, when Christmas nears. They were preparing crib in which Mother Mary and infant Jesus could be seen.
It was Santa Claus who used to deliver presents to all the children. I was waiting for the day since they were distributing cakes and chocolates !
But how does the idea of Santa Claus originate ?
People believe that it is Saint Nicholas himself. He is of dutch origin.
After watching TV, I now know a little about Santa Claus.
Santa Claus lives at north pole. He has white beard and wears red jacket . He also wears a cap , which only he wears !
He was coming in a sleigh pulled by 8 reindeer .
He is famous for his words " Ho , Ho, Ho. Merry Christmas "
