I had read in the newspaper that India and South Africa 2nd cricket test will be on boxing day. i.e. on 26th December
I was curious to know what is boxing day ?
Boxing day is the day following Christmas day. Traditionally , on this day servants tradesmen would receive gifts from their bosses. The gifts usually given in boxes. Hence the name boxing day.
It is observed in United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong , Australia , New Zealand and other Commonwealth nations.
