It is still the middle of the month March. Now itself we are experiencing summer days. As it is a coastal area, it is humid and also now rising temperature.
Yesterday, in newspaper I found out that the temperature recorded in Udupi was 40 degree Celsius ! I was feeling uneasiness yesterday. I always sit under a turning fan. But even the fan , seemed like distributing hot air.
Yesterday, in our neighbourhood everyone were semi nude.
If a male goes semi nude because of heat, no one bothers. But what about women? We are bounded by moral laws. We can not go semi nude.
Whatever be the temperature, we must cover ourselves properly. It is an example of discrimination against women .
