This question raised in the minds of devils. If they do good, humans wont worship them. Human worship only gods.
They went near Brahma, who created them with their doubt. Brahma didnt say anything. But he invited them for a dinner , he was hosting.
Dinner room was very grand. Varieties of dishes were prepared for the guests. Brahma had invited gods or angels too for the dinner.
Dinner time was nearing. Brahma put a condition for both the parties. That is they must eat the food without bending their hand.
Devils found it very hard. Each of them tried to eat the food without bending their hand . Unable to eat, they had spilled the food on their body and on the floor. They could not have a small trace also. They were unhappy.
But angels, were eating food without bending their hand ! They were taking the portion of food from plate and were seen giving the byte to other fellow.
It was going in a circular fashion. All of them had eaten the food and they were satisfied. By seeing them, Brahma told to demons " Selfish people only think of themselves. Humans dont want to worship those. Hence humans dont worship demons . "
